Six popular folk singers sang a song with a unique composition and arrangement. Kamruzzaman Rabbi, Raju Mondol, Ashok Bala, Abinash Baul, Purno Milon, Baul Faruk lent their soulful voices in the song titled ‘Takar Jontrona’ tuned by Baul Akaeid. The song consisted of some emotional and poignant verses written in Bengali.
Singers lamented a weary world without money, facing unbearable suffering in this materialistic world and seeking the divine assistance of the mighty being to encounter dire hardship. Musical composer Baul akaeid unveiled the reason behind such melancholy strains, saying,” We are Bauls, music is in our blood. Materials and money never come to us. So, we bear the unbearable pain, and face this harsh reality of this world. The song is influenced by our sufferings.’’ The song was released under the banner of Lionic Folk Station.
