Dhaka North City Corporation has demolished at least 25 shops including a food hotel built illegally next to the Mohakhali bus terminal of Dhaka North City Corporation. DNCC Chief Property Officer Dr. Regional Executive Officer and Executive Magistrate Md. Zulkar Nayan, Executive Magistrate Kamruzzaman and Md. Jalal Uddin conducted this operation under the leadership of Mahe Alam.
Regional Executive Officer Md. Zulkar Nayan said, ‘These shops were running illegally for a long time in the boundaries of Mahakhali Bus Terminal. They were given several notices but they did not move. These illegally constructed shops have been evicted by conducting the mobile court under the direction of the Mayor.’Random parking of buses on the road will be stopped and it will be possible to ensure order on the road. Dhaka North City Corporation Public Relations Officer Maqbool Hossain has confirmed this.
