Sara Bangla 88 Foundation helps Tara Mia

Sara Bangla 88 Foundation was established in Sep 1, 2021 by friends who passed SSC in the year 1988. This Foundation is based on a Facebook group of 17k+ members (many are foundation members) Group was founded by expatriate Kazi Mostaque Ahmed(Emon) who opened the group in July 2020 during the pandemic of Corona Virus with only thought ‘Friendship and Humanity’ and to spread the word of kindness in the whole world by doing charity & voluntary social works for friends, society and in Bangladesh at large (coordinating team by executive committee of Sara Bangla 88 Foundation in all districts of Bangladesh and all over the whole world where we have SSC 88 friends). Since the inception of this group and foundation, this organisation have done many charity works in the area of Health (medical help), Education (monthly stipend to children where parents are unable to pay the fees), Environment (raising Awareness of Climate Action among the people and planting trees in each district of Bangladesh) and the poor people. With that context a news published in the esteemed newspaper ‘Prothom Alo’ on 8th Sep, 2023 caught in the eyes of the Founder Kazi Mostaque Ahmed and it was about a very poor person who is physically challenged and pull a rickshaw with one hand and leg to maintain his family and children. Mostaque was moved by this news and asked his Charity team to do something for this man to make his life easier. He emphasised on the education of his children too. So today 29th September 2023, after coordinating with ATN Bangla and Prothom Alo our charity team handed over an electric driven auto-rickshaw to the poor man Tara Mia, who is from Netrokona and live in Dhaka. It was handed over to him in front of the ATN Bangla along with some EC members of Sara Bangla 88 Foundation and others. Sara Bangla 88 foundation has presence in many countries worldwide and all doing selfless acts under the same umbrella. Last two years they have given monthly stipend of 4000tk to 8 students from different districts of Bangladesh, distributed 15 sewing machines, food help to the poorest (9 lakhs tk), distributed more than 3000 blankets during the winter season. Besides, this organisation has given many wheelchairs, trollies to Hospitals, education materials to schools in all over Bangladesh to the real needy people. They have done social awareness too and planting trees regularly in all over the Bangladesh. Founder & President of Sara Bangla 88 Foundation, Kazi Mostaque Ahmed is an elected Councillor in Ireland and he hopes that one day this organisation will bring real change in many lives in Bangladesh and this model will be followed by others. Its already have a brand name in Bangladesh. But their dream is big and they are working hard with many hard working and charity minded friends to make that dream true.
