Yoon Hyun Min, Baek Jin Hee part ways

South Korean actors Yoon Hyun Min and Baek Jin Hee, have decided to go their separate ways, after seven years of being together. This news was initially reported by Sports DongA on Monday and has since been confirmed by their respective agencies.

In a statement, a close acquaintance of the couple shared, “It’s true that Yoon Hyun Min and Baek Jin Hee have broken up. Now, rather than as a couple, the two are rooting for each other as colleagues. It must have been a hard decision since they have dated for so long. I’m sure there are feelings of disappointment. I just hope fans bless them with support and encouragement.” Furthermore, Yoon Hyun Min’s agency confirmed the reports, stating, “It’s true that Yoon Hyun Min and Baek Jin Hee have broken up. As they are both busy with acting projects, they ended up parting ways.”

The story of Baek Jin Hee and Yoon Hyun Min’s romantic journey began during their collaboration on the MBC drama series, “My Daughter, Geum Sa Wol,” which aired in 2015. The show, directed by Baek Ho-Min, also featured other talented actors such as Park Se Young, Jeon In Hwa, and Do Sang Woo.  Rumors about their relationship initially circulated while the drama was still airing in early 2016. Although they didn’t confirm their relationship at the time, they later revealed that they had started dating in April of that year.

Throughout their time together, the couple often shared their moments of togetherness, including vacations abroad and sweet comments on each other’s Instagram posts, becoming an inspiration for many, as a couple.

Baek Jin Hee made her acting debut with a supporting role in “The Naked Kitchen” and went on to act in various projects, including the indie film “Bandhobi” in 2009, with her most recent work being “The Real Has Come”. Meanwhile, Yoon Hyun Min, who gained fame with “Tunnel”, was last seen in “Bo-ra! Deborah” and is set to appear in an upcoming short film titled “Taste of Horror – Gym for Residents”.
