Manha’s Castle Invitational FIDE Rating Chess tournament has begun from today (Wednesday) at the hall room of Manha’s Castle in the city.
In the first round matches, FM Manon Reja Neer won against CM Md Shaukat Bin Osman Shaon and Tutul Dhar won against FM Md Sharif Hossain, CM Sohel Chowdhury split point with Aanat Chowdhury, CM Zoar Haque Prodhan split point with FM Syed Mahfuzur Rahman and Md. Sagar split point with FM Subrota Biswas.
A total of ten players are participating in this event which is being held in the round robin league system.
