Bangladeshi killed in Oman road crash

A Bangladesh national was killed in a road accident in the middle east country Oman on Friday (July 1) night (Bangladesh Standard Time).

He was known as Mominul Haque, 45, son of late Dudh Mia of Purba Fatehpur under Kabirhat upazila in Noakhali.

Deceased’s relative, quoting Mominul’s roommate Kamrul Islam, said, “Mominul flew for Oman back three years. A private car ran over him while he was standing on a roadside on Friday night, leaving critically injured. He was taken to hospital immediately where he succumbed.”

He further said, “Mominul was third among seven siblings. He has two sons and a daughter in the country. Attempt continues to bring the body.”
