At the beginning of the meeting, the state minister exchanged Eid greetings and thanked all concerned for working to settle all kinds of demands including salary and bonus of the workers of Eid.
In his speech, State Minister of Labour and Employment of Bangladesh Md. Nazrul Islam Chowdhury said that both the workers and the owners have to protect each other’s interests. Employers must be respectful of the workers’ just demands, just as workers must strive sincerely for the betterment of the employer and the organization.
