Students get tree saplings in Panchagarh

Around 1,039 students were provided tree saplings at Debiganj upazila in Panchagarh district on Monday.

RDRS Lakshmihat branch organized the fruit and forest tree saplings distribution programme at Lakshirhat High School ground in the morning under ongoing Prosperity Program.

Debiganj Upazila Parishad women vice chairman Ritu Akter was present as the chief guest at the distribution programme presided over by RDRS Lakshmirhat branch coordinator Jadab Chandra Roy.

At that time, RDRS Panchagarh regional manager Atiar Rahman and Prosperity Program directed ‘Prabin Samjik Kendra’ land donor Nagendra Nath Roy were present as special guests.

According to organizers, educational programs are being conducted in 40 educational centers in Debiduba union of the upazila under the financial and technical assistance of Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) and the educational assistance program of RDRS’ Prosperity Programme.
