Hamdard opens medical camp at Bishwa Ijtema

Hamdard Laboratories (WAQF) Bangladesh inaugurated a free medical camp at Ijtema premises for the devotees of Biswa Ijtema on February one (Thursday). Religious Affairs Minister Faridul Haque Khan was present in the program as a chief guest while Dr Hakim Md Yousuf Harun Bhuiyan, managing director and chief mutawalli of Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) Bangladesh and founder of Hamdard University, presided over the meeting. Faridul Haque Khan said, “Bangladesh is advancing towards prosperity in a rapid pace.  Sheikh Hasina, daughter of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and prime minister of Bangladesh is being praised all over the world as a role model. Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) Bangladesh set a unique precedent in the field of human service by conducting medical services for last 42 years at Bishwa Ijtema Maidan.” Dr Hakim Md Yousuf Harun Bhuiyan stressed on the continuation of this service, saying,” We have been standing with the pilgrims since 1983 and our campaign is continuing. We will work with full enthusiasm to continue our services.”
