Newly-appointed OC Abdul Ahad takes office of Sher-E-Bangla Nagar Thana. He formally took his office on Sunday.
Sher-E-Bangla Nagar Thana arranged a farewell and fresher reception for bidding the outgoing OC goodbye and welcoming the newly one at its Auditorium in the capital.
New OC Abdul Ahad said he would try to keep up the pace of development of team and extend the field of services much more.
He said, “Today (Sunday) is very special day. I am pleased as I can receive the duty of thana.”
He also expressed respects to those who were killed on this night in 1971 by Pakistani occupation forces.
The outgoing OC Utpal Baruah described his memories during his long time duty in the field. other officers of the service spoke on the occasion.
