Mohammad Habib Hasan was the Organizing Secretary of Harirampur Union Awami League afterwards he became the General Secretary of Greater Uttara Thana Awami League.
Mohammad Habib Hasan became the Joint General Secretary of Dhaka City North Awami League for the first time on 2016 and again became senior joint general secretary of Dhaka City North Awami League on November 2020.
After the death of the former MP of Dhaka-18 Sahara Khatun on 9 July 2020, Mohammad Habib Hasan was elected as a Member of Parliament in the vacant seat of Dhaka-18 constituency, in the by-election held on 12 Nov 2020. Alhaj Habib Hasan is a people-friendly, worker-friendly and party-friendly personality.
After a prolonged political career, his life has become well-disposed in the final stage of his life. Habib Hasan’s popularity is steadily increasing among the people of all walks of life. He does not distinguish between the rich and poor.
Devoting with a modern taste, he is favored by the honorable Prime Minister and he wants to spend the rest of his life following her path.
From the grassroots to the streets, from the streets to the National Parliament House, he is close at hand to everyone. He is a Member of Parliament for Dhaka-18 constituency. He hoped to win again in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
He wants to work to build a welfare-oriented neighborhood society. Non-adversarial philanthropic activities are his main goal.
He also said that youths are turning into teen gangs whom are a massive threat to the future social system. He is determined to make the society youth-friendly.
He said about the political context, we have a party forum, the honorable prime minister is the head of the forum. We will work according to our leader’s edification. He is not worried about the current situation.
He wants to start working on the next election as soon as he gets instructions from the party. Also he has received an advance message from the centre.
He also said that he was associated with Awami League politics from a very young age. “Until today, I am preparing myself in Awami ideology. Everyone in my family is involved in Awami League politics. Policy is associated with politics.
Actually, policies are some ideals, rules and regulations. I have been associated with Awami League politics all my life, practiced ethics” he added.
However, he has taken this place through struggle and sacrifice. The ‘Boat of Bangabandhu’s ideals’ crossed many ups and downs Boat is the symbol of our journey of development.
Even after being tortured and oppressed, the party did not change its motto. He said, ‘I know the boat, I won’t go outside the ideology of Bangabandhu.’
“The main ornament of Bangabandhu’s politics is cordial relationship; good relationship with people takes a person to the apex of a successful life.
In one word, to get love, you have to love. Only affinity can win people’s hearts. There was no failure in his life. Every time he failed, he prepared to sail to the port of success”, he expressed about his idol Bangabandhu.
From the famous King Robert Bruce story, we get- Failure actually leads to success in life, failure should never be feared. Success and failure in life are interrelated. He also quoted Kazi Nazrul’s poem- (In one hand I hold the bamboo flute, in the other, a trumpet of war.)
He said always rules those whom loves. He said in an interview with Daily Business Bangladesh – “People don’t live forever, so why do we spread violence and hatred? We got Bangladesh and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the Bengali nation, by the grace of Allah.
My last wish is to work for the welfare of the country and people till the last moment of my life.”
Residents of the area informed me that he is a hard -working man, directly and indirectly involved in various social service activities. Habib Hasan has contributed donations to various mosques and madrasas.
To solve various problems, all the activists and common people of the area rush to Alhaj Habib Hassan, get the right solution.
Finally, he said, “I was born in Awami family. My leader is Bangabandhu and I idealize Sheikh Hasina.
I will move forward on the path shown by her, she is my leader. I want to take her side in good times and bad times.’’
Being bound by the bridge of amity, brotherhood, friendship and equality, wearing garlands in memory of justice, truth and sacrifice,
smoothing the path of limitations of white, black, yellow, red countries or groups, singing the victory song of civilization becomes the dream charioteer of the leader of smart Bangladesh.

He ended with praising Sheikh Hasina, daughter of democracy
