Police help for HSC examinees

Beauty Khatun, a High Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinee of Rajshahi Government Model School, mistakenly went to Rajshahi Education Board Government Model School and College.

She was searching for her roll number in the seat-plan on the centre’s notice board but didn’t find it. She became very anxious as she had only few minutes to reach her real examination hall.

At that time a police inspector appeared before her surprisingly and extended his helping hand to her in reaching her scheduled examination center in due time by his motorbike.

This incident gained high appreciations from the locals and guardians of examinees and they praised the efforts of police personnel Mamunur Rashid of Chandrima thana of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police.

Identical incident happened to another examinee Shamim Hossain, a student of Green Model College, who went to his centre at Rajshahi Court College without some of his required documents to attend the examination.

The authority was not allowing him to take part in the examination.

The matter came to the notice of Kasiadanga thana officer-in-charge (OC) Muhammad Moniruzzaman.

He quickly brought the documents from his residence and helped him enter the examination centre within specified time.

These gesture from police personnel attained praises from the examinees and their family members.

Rajshahi Metropolitan Police Commissioner Biplab Bijoy Talikder said they have taken measures for smooth commuting of HSC examinees in the city.
