State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Zunaid Ahmed Palak today said pro-people leader Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has ensured good governance in the country.
“Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is maintaining development spree in the country side by side ensuring good governance in the country,” he said.
The state minister said this while addressing the ceremony of giving incentives to small and marginal farmers, medical assistance from the Ministry of Social Welfare, grants from the Ministry of Disaster Management and distribution of ducks and chicken houses among ethnic group at Singra Upazila Auditorium in Natore as the chief guest.
Highlighting PM’s development activities for the country, Palak said that in the last 14 years there has been unprecedented development in various sectors of the country and as a result, no family remains landless and homeless in the country.
Almost every family is getting benefit under the Social Safety Net programme, he said, adding that the economy of the village has become active by receiving electricity and internet facilities.
A green revolution has taken place in agriculture because of giving incentives and subsidies, he said, adding that education and health care programmes are making people’s lives better and safer nowadays.
About the current development works of the present government, he said the construction works of four institutions including hi-tech park are going on in Singra.
Besides, ‘Chalanbil Smart City’ will be built through these installations, said Palak. Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Mahmuda Khatun presided over the event.
