Members of 93 Armored Brigade of Bangladesh Army’s 11th Infantry Division distributed winter clothes (blankets) to helpless and cold-hit people in Laskarpur Mahavidya Niketan (Puthia College) field in Puthia Upazila of Rajshahi district on Tuesday.
Brigadier General Mohsin Reza, Brigade Commander of 93 Armored Brigades, was the chief guest at the distribution ceremony and OSP and FWC, PSC were present in the programme.
A.K.M.Noor Hossain Nirzhor (UNO) Puthia, Rajshahi, Puthia UP Chairman Ashraf Ali Khan, local dignitaries and public representatives were also present. Total 350 blankets were distributed, A.K.M.Noor Hossain Nirzhor (UNO), Puthia, Rajshahi said .
Brigadier General Mohsin Reza informed the present journalists that such initiatives have been taken due to the rapid increase in the severity of winter.
