Women workers dispatching to Jordan at zero cost

BOESL is a manpower exporting company that is the only state-owned manpower dispatching company whose main goal is to get off the skilled and experienced workforce in foreign countries to work in various sectors.

In the same way, it has been implementing ethical, safe and cost-effective immigration since 1984. Already about 2lakh skilled workers have got employment opportunities in 32 countries around the world. BOESL is committed to dispatching overseas employment of skilled and trained workers.

BOESL is located in Dhaka, and from the very beginning till today, this company is going to struggle continuously. Despite the struggle, the idea of manpower exports from this country was derived from Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

This company creates the composition of works for the welfare of the nation. Due to an overpopulated country, Bangladesh is taking over the burden on her shoulders. Not only sheltering more than one million Rohingyas, extra load has already been given by the world community by not assisting Bangladesh properly. However, the jam-packed overflowing population flows are increasing day by day. For this reason, BOESL has started to send skilled and lower-skilled workers overseas without any cost.

Moreover, skilled Bangladeshi workers go abroad for work. As a result, their family income doubles. In addition, two-thirds of Bangladeshis who return to the country after working abroad for a few years become entrepreneurs or start their own businesses.

The Bangladesh Overseas Employment and Services Limited (BOESL) is getting off 72 women workers to Jordan at zero migration cost in the working sector from 31 December 2023.

The woman workers will be consigned to the Bangladesh Overseas Employment and Services Limited (BOESL), the state-owned recruitment agency.

Jordan will hire woman Bangladeshi workers for its working sector through BOESL with a view to ensuring a safe and orderly migration, BOESL managing director Dr Mallick Anwar Hossain said.

Besides, they have received a demand order for more potential skilled workers who will also go to the job destination in different countries gradually.

Expatriates’ welfare and overseas employment ministry disclosed this in a press statement.

The BOESL has so far received demand notes for workers from various companies.

Of them, workers have been selected randomly from the Bureau of Manpower Employment and Training (BMET) database and job fairs.

But the outflow of workers through private recruiters has still remained slow due to different complexities, including alleged syndication in the process.

Against this backdrop, Jordan has introduced ‘Special Recruitment Project’ to hire workers under a government-to-government arrangement through the state-owned recruitment agency along with private recruiters.

Jordan-bound Bangladeshi migrant worker Moyna Khatun said, ‘woman migrants will lead a solvent life after going to Jordan. And, I am also grateful to BOESL for giving me a chance to turn my dream into reality.”
