Lady mountaineer Shayla Bithi begins Ama Dablam adventure

Bangladeshi lady mountaineer Shayla Bithi has commenced the expedition to conquer Ama Dablam mountain in the eastern Himalayan range of Koshi Province, Nepal. She started her journey from Tenzing-Hillary Airport, also known as Lukla Airport in Nepal.

Ama Dablam is a challenging mountain to climb, with a technical route and high-altitude mountaineering. To climb this mountain, mountaineers need to be ornamented with special rock-climbing techniques and it also requires extra ordinary physical fitness. By this time, no Bangladeshi woman ever challenged this mountain to conquer.

Shayla Bithi has taken a challenge of winning Ama Dablam with the support of a courier service company, Parcel. If she is able to conquer this mountain, it will be surely a magnificent achievement for the female mountaineers of Bangladesh.
