Police arrested two drug peddlers in Khalishpur industrial area here on Sunday with 4,100 yaba tablets from their possession, said a KMP press release today.
On information, Police went on drives around 5.30pm at Housing State area under Khalishpur Police Station and arrested Wahidul Islam,38, along with 3,000 pieces of yaba while he was waiting to sell those to his customers.
In another drive, detective police of KMP arrested Emon Howlader, 35, a drug trader, from Nayabati area under Khalishpur Police Station around 10.30pm last night.
Police recovered 1100 pieces yaba tablets from his possession.
