European stock markets were mixed at the start of trading on Tuesday following gains in Asia.
London’s benchmark FTSE 100 index rose 0.2 percent to 7,714.77 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt’s DAX index fell 0.2 percent to 16,408.83 points and the Paris CAC 40 was flat at 7,496.58.
