Voting stations open in key Spain election

Polling stations opened in Spain on Sunday for an early general election in which the right is tipped to beat Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez’s Socialists, in office since 2018.

Voting began at 9:00 am (0700 GMT) and will close at 8:00 pm (1800 GMT), with final results expected several hours later.
