Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive arrested a young man along with 14,490 pieces of Yaba from Dhaka’s Ashulia union on Friday night.
RAB-4 Commander Lt Col Mohammad Abdur Rahman confirmed the matter on Saturday afternoon.
ipped-off, a team of the elite force conducted a raid in Baipail area under Ashulia Police Station and arrested the man red handed along with the drugs, the commander said.
During interrogation, he confessed that he used to smuggle the drugs in several areas of the capital city. Legal actions would be taken in this regard, Mohammad Abdur Rahman added.
