Iftar and doa mahfil were held under the aegis of Daudkandi Upazila Nationalist Forum in Dhaka.
The iftar and doa mahfil were held at the Institute of Diploma Engineers (IDEB) building in the capital, under the overall supervision of the members of Daudkandi Jatiyatabadi Forum and Youth Forum in Kakrail.
Under the chairmanship of Mia Md. Mizanur Rahman, Honorable President of Daudkandi Upazila Nationalist Forum, Enamul Haque (Safar) Talukder, Organizing Secretary of Daudkandi Upazila Nationalist Forum in Dhaka, and VP Shahabuddin Bhuiyan, Joint General Secretary attended the event. BNP Standing Committee Senior Member and Former Minister, freedom fighter Dr. Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain was present as the chief guests at the event.
BNP standing committee member Dr Khandaker Maruf Hossain presided over the programme.
Mosharraf Hossain said the people’s right to vote should be restored through the national election. The current government should restore the rights of the people, the main right of the people is the right to vote.We all should learn a lesson from the fall of Hasina that since independence, no one has been able to stay in power by depriving the people of their right to vote.
Daudkandi Upazila BNP convener MA Latif Bhuiyan, Dhaka Transport Owners Association general secretary Saiful Alam, and municipal BNP convener Nur Mohammad Selim Sarkar, Senior Joint Convener of Municipal BNP Shawgat Chowdhury Peter, President of Daudkandi Upazila Nationalist Youth Forum in Dhaka and Convener of Comilla North District Volunteer Party Anwar Hossain Anand, spoke as special guests at the event.
Goalmari Union BNP Joint Convener Masud Karim, Senior Vice President of Biplob Youth Forum K. M. Mahabubul Alam, General Secretary of Youth Forum Mehedi Hasan also attended the event.
