The Youth Festival 2025, celebrated with the vibrant theme of “Let’s change the country, change the world”, brought together young minds and community leaders to envision a brighter future for Bangladesh. As part of the festivities, a workshop titled “Future Bangladesh with the thoughts of youth” was held at the Upazila Hallroom on Thursday afternoon at 3:30 PM. The event was organized by the Puthia Upazila Parishad.
The workshop was presided over by Puthia Upazila Executive Officer AKM Nur Hossain Nirjhar, who emphasized the pivotal role of youth in driving the nation’s progress. He shared, “Today’s youth are the architects of tomorrow. By harnessing their intelligence and creativity, Bangladesh can advance toward greater achievements while fostering empathy and unity among its people. I wish all our youth a bright and promising future.”
Key government officials graced the event, including Upazila Engineer Parvez Newaz Khan, Agriculture Officer Smritirani Sarkar, and other officers and employees from various upazila departments.
A large number of enthusiastic student representatives also attended the workshop, voicing their ideas and aspirations for the nation’s future. Among them were notable participants such as Rico Mondal, Tanvir Ahmed Abir, Shafin Islam, Yasir Arafat Prince, Mehedi Hasan Babu, Humayun Ahmed, and many others.
The workshop provided a platform for youth to discuss their perspectives on Bangladesh’s development trajectory, focusing on issues such as education, sustainable development, technology, and community welfare. Participants engaged in interactive sessions and shared innovative solutions for overcoming challenges faced by the country.
The initiative aimed to empower the younger generation by recognizing their potential and involving them in decision-making processes that impact the country’s future. It also highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts between the youth, government officials, and local community leaders in achieving national progress.
