Shakib Khan’s “Priyotoma” became an instant hit upon its release last Eid-ul-Azha. The film maintained a successful run for eight weeks in both local and international theatres.
Following its roaring success, the film’s producer Arshad Adnan gifted director Himel Ashraf a white Toyota Axio 2020 which is worth TK 26 lakhs.
Himel Ashraf posted the picture of the car on his Facebook page. “Thank you Arshad Adnan Bhaia, for this Brand New Car as a Gift for ‘Priyotoma’s success,” read his post.
Himel Ashraf told a local media “There are many directors who don’t get their rightful money after the film’s success. Adnan bhai is certainly an exception. He is always looking forward to promoting young talent.”
Notably, Himel Ashraf’s debut movie “Sultana Bibiana” was also produced by Arshad Adnan’s production company Versatile Media.
The duo will be reuniting once again with “Rajkumar” which also stars Shakib Khan as the leading hero. If everything goes well, the shooting of this movie may start in November. The film will be shot in Bangladesh and the US.
