Humayun Kabir, was the Naval Commando of Operation Jackpot and valiant freedom fighter of Faridpur Alfadanga Upazila, Satbari village died on 21 November,Tuesday.
He was 70. Family sources said he passed away due to Lung cancer.
He left behind two sons, a daughter and host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
In the initial stage of freedom struggle he was working as a police officer under East Pakistan later he joined operation Jackpot as a captain.
Elite people of Bangladesh expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of valiant freedom fighter Humayun Kabir.
In a condolence message, his devotees prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family. He was buried to Nandigram.
