A farewell ceremony was held at the Gopalpur Dr. Mosharraf Hossain High School grounds on Monday, April 7 at 4 pm.
Gopalpur Dr. Mosharrof Hossain High School’s Honorable President and Titas Upazila BNP Joint Convener Md. Mahbub Alam Sarkar presided over the farewell reception and Supreme Court Advocate Dr. Khandaker Maruf Hossain, one of the members of the BNP National Executive Committee, spoke as the chief guest.
Dr Khandaker Maruf said they are working to implement BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman’s 31 points. These 31 phases are for the welfare of the people. If BNP forms the government, we will work for education and building a nation with skilled manpower and educated talent, Insha Allah. In the future, we will work to eliminate unemployment in Titas, Daudkandi, Homna and Meghna.
“The Awami Fascist government has destroyed the education system. All the government appointments have deprived the meritorious ones by partying. They have created a disparity in positions. If we (BNP) form the government in the future, the BNP government will be a discrimination-free government. There will be no groupism in any government recruitment. Genuine talent will get merit-based appointments in various departments of the country.
He also said, “This school was established in 2004, Inshallah, if you elect us with a huge vote in the upcoming parliamentary elections, we will establish new educational institutions, including all roads and bridges in Ziarkandi union, and some new medical colleges and hospitals through the Dr. Musharraf Foundation.”
